Why this exists
Most tools stop before the useful part.
Plenty of things will generate a page. Far fewer will give you the files, put them somewhere you can reach, keep them when you close the tab, and tell you honestly what it cost. That gap is the whole product.
Honest about custody
When you use a machine we run, your repository is on our server in Germany. We say so plainly rather than claiming otherwise. Run it yourself and nothing reaches us at all.
No lock-in
Everything is a git repo. Clone it, mirror it to GitHub, host it anywhere. If you leave, you leave with the work.
