Pricing

A plan, plus what you use.

A plan a month, with usage included — $4.99 to just talk to it, $10 for a site or two, $29 for most people. Every answer prints what it cost, and a spending limit is on from day one.

Free to start, no card. Past your plan’s included usage a turn costs what the model cost us plus your plan’s markup, which falls as the plan goes up: 30% on the trial, Amelia’s Chat AI and Pro, 28% on Pro Plus, 22% on Pro Max, 20% on Enterprise.

The plans

Pick a plan. Usage is included.

Each plan includes usage every month; past it you pay the plan’s markup on what runs. These are the real prices, the same figures the billing code enforces.

Included usage resets each month and credit you buy never expires. “A database” means a site that has to show what it keeps back to somebody — bookings that know when a class is full, sign-ins, a list you open every morning. A contact form does not need one: it reaches you by email on every plan, including the cheapest, and a site that is only pages publishes free. The last line of each card is what that plan holds: projects, data, traffic a month, and how many sites may keep what people send them. Go past the data allowance and extra storage is about $0.10 a GB a month, taken from your usage and never past your spending limit — there is no separate hosting or storage bill, and nothing is charged for going over a traffic figure. The company plans have a page of their own, with the worked bill for twenty people.

In practice

What a finished thing actually costs.

Measured, not estimated — every figure below is what our own account was charged for a real build, markup included.

$0.0092a local service site, one turn
$0.0100a software agency site, one turn
$0.0035cleaning a messy spreadsheet
$0.0012a typical question, priced on the answer
Real builds on our recommended model, taken to a working state
JobCostTurns
A local service business$0.00921 turn
A software agency site$0.01001 turn
A SaaS landing page$0.00961 turn
A portfolio$0.00821 turn
A working calculator$0.00721 turn
Scraping into a spreadsheet$0.00751 turn
Cleaning a messy spreadsheet$0.00351 turn
See them all, with screenshots, in the showcase. A more expensive model costs more and is sometimes worth it: across the same seven jobs the spread ran from about $0.05 to just over $4, which is why the app suggests a model per job rather than picking one for everything.

The obvious worry

Paying per use has a ceiling here.

The fair objection to paying for what you use is that a mistake could cost a fortune. So there is a limit on the account, it is on by default from the first day, and it is yours to set. Reach it and the next turn does not run.

This month

Used $2.14Your limit $20.00

At $20.00 the next turn is refused before it starts. No overdraft, no surprise at the end of the month, and nothing to cancel afterwards.

  1. On by defaultNot a setting to find after something has already gone wrong. New accounts have one before they have spent anything.
  2. Raise it when you mean toA bigger job needs a bigger ceiling, and that should be a decision you make rather than one a runaway loop makes for you.
  3. It applies to everyoneIncluding free accounts and anyone we have comped. Generosity without a ceiling is how the first surprise becomes an invoice.

A credit system caps your spending by making you buy the credits first. This does the same thing without making you pay in advance, guess how many you need, or lose the ones you did not use.

Free, and not free

Two ways to pay nothing, and the one thing that is not free.

Two of these cost you nothing. Asking does not, and this is not the page to pretend otherwise — it is the one whose whole argument is that we print the number.

Start free on the trial allowance

New accounts get an allowance to build with and no card is asked for. The remaining balance is on screen the whole time rather than something you discover by hitting it.

Run it on your own machine

Your own hardware and your own model keys, and we charge nothing at all. The self-hosted path is the same agent.

Asking costs what asking costs

A question or a planning turn is priced like every other turn: what the model cost us plus your plan’s markup. On the model we recommend that is about $0.0012, and the figure is printed on the answer.

Every plan includes

What the money is for, and what happens if you stop paying it.

You own the code

A real Git repository, in your name, from the first build.

Take it with you

Zip it, clone it, or push it to your own GitHub. Any time, plan or no plan.

Hosting included

Your sites online on your own domain, included with every plan that builds. How many depends on the plan — the count is on Pricing.

Build from anywhere

Your project runs on a machine in the cloud, not on your laptop. Nothing to install, and it works from a phone.

Never shop for an AI again

There are dozens of AIs and the priciest costs 80x the cheapest. We send each job to the one that does it well for the least. You just build.

The price on every answer

The rate is under the composer before you send, and what it cost is printed on the answer. No credits, no packs.

Cancel any time

Your code stays yours. Hosting stops a week later, and one click brings it back.

“Saves things” means a database. A site that is only pages — text, photos, a phone number — publishes free on every plan. On the free trial it goes up as a seven‑day preview on our subdomain and then comes down; the code stays yours, and publishing again on a plan puts it back at the same address. A contact form works on every plan, including the cheapest — what people send you arrives by email and nothing has to keep running for it. What needs a server is a site that has to SHOW what it keeps: bookings that know when a class is full, sign-ins, a list you open every morning — and Pro Plus is the first plan that includes one. If you are not sure which you are building, ask for it and the plan estimates it before you approve anything.

Build counts are the allowance divided by $0.009 a build turn — the heaviest real account's average, so the pessimistic figure rather than the flattering one: across the last 149 real turns a build came in under $0.0033. Amelia’s Chat AI has no build line because it has no builds; its $2.50 is spent on answers, and every answer shows its price. Usage past the allowance is bought on top of a plan, at that plan’s markup — there is no separate credit pack, and nothing is spent past your own limit. The included usage resets each month; credit you buy never expires.

Against the alternatives

Compare it for what you use.

Move the slider. Ours is the only line on any of these three charts that moves, because everybody else sells a flat subscription — and a flat bar is not “cheaper”, it is the price of a box whose contents they do not publish.

600 answers a month
Amelia’s Chat AI $5.99 $5.99 a month · $2.50 of usage included · then $0.0012 an answer
ChatGPT Plus $20.00 flat · usage metered in five-hour windows
Claude Pro $20.00 flat · “usage limits that reset on a rolling five-hour session window”
Perplexity Pro price not published to us

If every single answer used a frontier model at $0.05 instead, the same plan would be $33.49 — the worst case, not the normal one.

Ours: the plan price plus $0.009 a build turn past the included usage — the heaviest real account's average, so the pessimistic figure. Replit Core $20, replit.com; Bolt Pro $25 for 10M tokens, bolt.new; Base44 Starter $16 for 100 message credits, base44.com; Retool Business $65 per builder ($50 billed annually), retool.com — all 6 Sep 2026. Lovable Pro $25 for 100 credits, lovable.dev/pricing 27 Aug 2026: that page renders its plans in the browser and would not give them to a fetch on 6 Sep, so the figure is the dated one already on this site.

Ours: $99 a month billed yearly, or $119 monthly — whatever the headcount. Both are founding prices for the first hundred companies, and both are theirs permanently; what it costs after that is not set yet. Usage is billed on top at cost plus the plan’s 20%. Claude Team $25 per seat ($20 billed annually), Enterprise by conversation, claude.com/pricing; Retool Business $65 per builder ($50 billed annually) plus $18 per internal user, retool.com/pricing — both 6 Sep 2026. The chart is the five AI builders. If you are weighing this against something else — a website builder like Wix or GoDaddy, or an assistant like Claude — there is one page per rival, each with that company’s own published figures and the date they were read. Buying it for everybody at the company is a different question again: AI for your whole company.
