A plan a month, with usage included — $4.99 to just talk to it, $10 for a site or two, $29 for most people. Every answer prints what it cost, and a spending limit is on from day one.
Free to start, no card. Past your plan’s included usage a turn costs what the model cost us plus your plan’s markup, which falls as the plan goes up: 30% on the trial, Amelia’s Chat AI and Pro, 28% on Pro Plus, 22% on Pro Max, 20% on Enterprise.

Included usage resets each month and credit you buy never expires. “A database” means a site that has to show what it keeps back to somebody — bookings that know when a class is full, sign-ins, a list you open every morning. A contact form does not need one: it reaches you by email on every plan, including the cheapest, and a site that is only pages publishes free. The last line of each card is what that plan holds: projects, data, traffic a month, and how many sites may keep what people send them. Go past the data allowance and extra storage is about $0.10 a GB a month, taken from your usage and never past your spending limit — there is no separate hosting or storage bill, and nothing is charged for going over a traffic figure. The company plans have a page of their own, with the worked bill for twenty people.

The obvious worry
The fair objection to paying for what you use is that a mistake could cost a fortune. So there is a limit on the account, it is on by default from the first day, and it is yours to set. Reach it and the next turn does not run.

At $20.00 the next turn is refused before it starts. No overdraft, no surprise at the end of the month, and nothing to cancel afterwards.
A credit system caps your spending by making you buy the credits first. This does the same thing without making you pay in advance, guess how many you need, or lose the ones you did not use.
Free, and not free
Two of these cost you nothing. Asking does not, and this is not the page to pretend otherwise — it is the one whose whole argument is that we print the number.
New accounts get an allowance to build with and no card is asked for. The remaining balance is on screen the whole time rather than something you discover by hitting it.
Your own hardware and your own model keys, and we charge nothing at all. The self-hosted path is the same agent.
A question or a planning turn is priced like every other turn: what the model cost us plus your plan’s markup. On the model we recommend that is about $0.0012, and the figure is printed on the answer.

Against the alternatives
Move the slider. Ours is the only line on any of these three charts that moves, because everybody else sells a flat subscription — and a flat bar is not “cheaper”, it is the price of a box whose contents they do not publish.
If every single answer used a frontier model at $0.05 instead, the same plan would be $33.49 — the worst case, not the normal one.
