What actually happens

  1. You paste the addressOne field. Not a repository, not an export file, not a plugin to install first — the address you print on a card.
  2. Amelia has a look, before anything is createdIt reads your home page and tells you what it found: the name of the site, its icon, which builder made it, and how many pages there are. If that is not your site, nothing has been made and nothing has been spent.
  3. It crawls your pages, politelyOne request a second, robots.txt obeyed. Your live site is somebody's business — ours does not get to hammer it.
  4. It rebuilds, page for pageThe same pages at the same addresses, your headings and paragraphs word for word, your images downloaded and kept as real files, your phone number and address exactly as you wrote them, and every form rebuilt as a working form that sends enquiries to you here.
  5. It tells you what it could not bringA booking calendar, a shopping cart, a members area — those are somebody else's service inside a page. You get one plain sentence for each, and an offer to build the equivalent.

The part nobody else does

Your pictures come with you.

Most "migrations" leave the images pointing back at the old host — parastorage.com, wp-content, wsimg.com. The new site looks perfect right up to the day you cancel the old account, and then every photograph on it turns into a broken square.

Amelia downloads the originals and puts them in your project, where they are files you can see, replace and take with you. The rebuilt site does not know the old one exists.

A git repository from the first turn. Clone it, download it, hand it to any developer, host it anywhere. Nothing about it is specific to us.

A price you can read

You pay for the work and the machine time, both printed on screen as they happen, rather than a monthly rental for as long as the site exists.

You can just ask for changes

“Put the Christmas hours on the front page.” No editor to learn, no template to fight, no developer to book.

And the honest half: a page builder gives you a drag-and-drop canvas and a preview of every change before it lands. This does not. You describe what you want and read what came back. If moving boxes around with a mouse is the part you enjoy, you will miss it.

Does my current website get changed or taken down?

No. Nothing on it is touched. Amelia reads the public pages the way a visitor would and builds a copy here, which you own. You cancel the old one when — and if — you decide to.

Which website builders can it read?

Any site that is on the public internet. Wix, WordPress, Squarespace, Shopify, Webflow, GoDaddy, Weebly, or something a developer wrote by hand. It recognises the common ones by name and works from the pages either way.

Does it keep my text and my photographs?

Yes. The copy is taken word for word — it is yours and it is usually the part you care most about — and the images are downloaded and kept as files in your project, not linked back to the old host. That is the point: your new site keeps working after you cancel the old account.

What about my booking calendar or my shop?

Those are somebody else's service embedded in a page, and they do not travel. Amelia lists every one it could not bring over, in a plain sentence each, and offers to build the equivalent here.

What does it cost?

The rebuild is a normal build: you pay for the work the model does and the machine time it takes, both shown on screen as it goes. There is no separate migration fee.
