Amelias Agent is a client. It needs an agent host running on a computer you control — that is what keeps your code and your subscription on your own hardware.

Getting set up

1. Install an agent host on your Mac, Linux box or WSL2 machine.
2. Make sure the agent CLI you want is installed and logged in on that machine (claude, qwen, kimi, and so on). The app uses the login that is already there.
3. Make the host reachable from your phone — a Tailscale tailnet or an HTTPS tunnel are both fine.
4. Open the app, enter the address, and connect.

Common problems

• Connection test fails. Check the host machine is awake, the agent host is running, and the tunnel or tailnet is connected.
• Agent says it is not signed in. Run the agent's own login on the host machine, then start a new session.
• A screen says a feature is unavailable. Not every backend serves every feature. The message names which one is missing.
