Getting started

1. Open the app and describe what you want — a website, a booking system, a form. Nothing to install.
2. She plans before she builds. Amelia asks her questions first, and no machine starts until you press send on the plan. Every answer shows its price — the planning turns included, at about $0.0012 each on the model we recommend.
3. When it’s built, press Put it online — one click, free on every plan, and your site is live at your-name.thxamelia.com with a certificate. On the free trial that address is a seven-day preview; a plan keeps it up, and puts it on a domain you own.

Common questions

• What does it cost? The price is on every answer before you send it. You pay what a run cost us plus your plan’s markup — 20–30%, falling as the plan goes up — and a spending limit is on from day one. See pricing.
• Where is my work? Saved after every turn, in a repository you own. Download everything, or clone it with git, from Your files on any project — you can walk away with all of it, any time.
• My site looks wrong. Tell Amelia in the chat, in plain English — “the header is too big on phones” works. Or press Check this site and she looks at the live pages the way a visitor would.
• Something was charged that I don’t understand. Every turn is itemised under Plan & billing. If it still does not add up, write in — we would rather refund a mistake than argue about one.
• Where are the terms I agreed to? The Terms of Use cover what the service is, what stays yours, and how billing and cancelling work — in plain English, not legal filler.
• Can you add something I need? Ask for it on the roadmap — it lists what has shipped, what is being built now, and everything people have asked for, ranked by how many want it. Requests and votes need an account so one vote means one person. If it is already there, voting for it says more than a second email.
• How do I delete my account? The account deletion page walks through it step by step, and says plainly what goes with it, what we are obliged to keep for tax and fraud records, and for how long — including why an App Store or Google Play subscription has to be cancelled there first.
• Can I use my own domain? Yes — publish first, then Use your own domain on the project walks you through pointing a name you own at it.
• Is it down, or is it me? The status page answers that without waiting for a reply. It asks the service the same question you would and prints what comes back — building and chat, cloud machines, email sign-in, GitHub connections and custom domains, each reported separately, so you can tell which one is the problem.
